Your journal is yours. We provide the tools, you own the memories. Use Hush Pages responsibly, and we'll work hard to keep it secure and reliable.
Your Content, Your Ownership
This is the most important part of our terms:
We only store your content to provide the service. We pledge not to use, reproduce, modify, or distribute it for other purposes.
Important: Mental Health Disclaimer
Hush Pages is NOT a replacement for professional mental health care. Our AI features cannot:

AI Limitations
Our AI features are designed to assist with journaling, but have important limitations:
AI Hallucinations
The AI may generate information that sounds legitimate but is false, particularly about external data, research, or current events.
Validation Bias
The AI may validate your feelings or align with your entries even when it should acknowledge limitations.
No External Actions
The AI cannot set reminders, send emails, interact with other apps, or make appointments.
Knowledge Gaps
The AI may struggle with dates, cannot access real-time information, and may give incorrect app instructions.
Best practice: Focus on personal reflection about your own entries rather than requesting external information.
Acceptable Use
Hush Pages is for personal journaling and reflection. To keep it a safe space:
Do
- Use for personal, non-commercial purposes
- Keep your account credentials secure
- Respect others privacy
- Comply with applicable laws
Don't
- Generate harmful or illegal content
- Share your account with others
- Attempt to hack or exploit the service
- Use for commercial data collection
Your Account
Security
You're responsible for keeping your account secure. Enable biometric lock for extra protection.
Age Requirement
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU) to use Hush Pages.
Unauthorized Access
If you notice suspicious activity, contact us immediately at support@hushpages.com
Pro Subscription
Some features require a Pro subscription. Here's how it works:
Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
Easy Cancel
Cancel anytime through your app store settings
Access Period
Service continues until the end of your billing period
Price Changes
We'll notify you of any price changes in advance
- • No refunds for remaining subscription periods after cancellation
- • Your content remains yours even if you downgrade to free
- • Free trial available for new subscribers (cancel before trial ends to avoid charges)
Leaving Hush Pages
You can leave anytime, and we make it easy:
Export Your Data
Download all your journal entries before you go
Delete Account
Request account deletion in Settings → Account
30-Day Recovery
Change your mind? Recover within 30 days
Permanent Deletion
All data permanently erased after recovery period
No Professional Advice
Hush Pages and its AI features do not provide:

Our Commitments
Liability & Disclaimers
Service Provided "As Is"
Hush Pages is provided without warranties of merchantability or fitness for particular purposes. We disclaim liability for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages.
Service Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We'll provide advance notice when possible for significant changes.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Hush Pages from claims arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these terms.
Dispute Resolution
Contact Us First
Before any legal action, contact support@hushpages.com and attempt to resolve informally for at least 30 days.
Binding Arbitration
Unresolved disputes will be settled through binding arbitration rather than court, except for small claims.
Individual Basis Only
You agree to resolve disputes individually. Class action lawsuits and class arbitration are waived.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Any legal action must be brought in courts located in California.
Changes to Terms
We'll notify you through the app at least 30 days before significant changes take effect. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.
